For corporate training and educational content, it is crucial for compliance to prevent users from fast-forwarding (scrubbing) past the point they have already watched. This ensures content is consumed in its entirety.

We request a feature to allow for the independent control of forward and backward seeking:

1) Disable Forward Seek/Scrubbing:

A player option to entirely disable the ability for users to jump ahead or fast-forward past the current viewing point.

2) Configurable Backward Rewind Button:

Dedicated "Rewind" controls (e.g., -10s or -20s button) that must remain enabled even when forward scrubbing is disabled. This allows users to review previous content without compromising compliance requirements.

This separation of control is vital for creating effective and auditable video training platforms.
