Option for CTA Button Link to open same tab OR new tab

Not sure if this is a bug report or feature request.
The behaviour we observe with the CTA link is that it is hard coded to open a new tab.
We are embedding a Gumlet on a landing page and have added an anchor link to the CTA button (https://....../path#anchor) and instead of immediately taking the user to the anchor on the same page as the embedded video, a new tab is opened which then takes the user to the anchor.
This experience is jarring and slow for the user in this use case.
Would be great if there is an option / checkbox to control if the link is same tab / window or new tab / window.

Just adding some context around this to make it clearer for anyone else considering if this is important to you to upvote or not.
If your use case for videos is to embed on a landing page or website page and the destination of your Call To Action (CTA) link / button overlaid on the video is to the same page then it appears that this is not possible at the moment with Gumlet.
The problem with the CTA going to another page is the time it takes.
In our case we want users to watch the video, and if they click on the CTA it immediately takes them to the offer displayed below the video. This way the user experience is all on a single page.
