We automatically choose quality based on device size and connection speed. We will play at highest quality if supported, but it can't be made the default.
If you must achieve this, you can edit processing settings and unselect lower resolutions so your output video does not have lower resolutions.

Uwe, I hear you. There is one problem, if the internet bandwidth is not available for the default version, it won't play well, i.e. it would be buffering all the times. Adding to that, I am not able to think if we should it automatically if a better bandwidth is available.
